Aerowaves and a.ArtistiAssociati brought together the #Twenty25 selection of artists from around Europe to a professional global audience.
In Gorizia and Nova Gorica we saw 24 performances over 4 days and welcomed 243 dance professionals from 45 countries. In addition, 400 local spectators attended the performances across the three cities.
The festival was also an opportunity to meet the international group of journalists and writers of the Springback Academy, the producers and curators of the Startup Forum programme, dance makers based in Friuli Venezia Giulia, Veneto (Italy) and Slovenia as part of Artists Encounter and for the first time we organised the Podcast Academy.
On the 23rd April we presented an additional programme: the Springback 10th anniversary and the work of two international choreographers, Kenta Kojiri (Japan) and Elie-Anne Ross (Québec/Canada) performed by young dancers.
In addition, the programme also included Silvia Gribaudi and Andrea Rampazzo’s work, ‘Amaterski tihotapci / Contrabbandieri dilettanti’, created and performed by the En-Knap dance company.
