Biography

Lisa Colette Bysheim’s (1991) artistic practice unfolds in several constellations, as both choreographer and performer. She is driven by feminist methods that examine power dynamics, particularly the nuances of soft power as a persuasive and seductive force. Lisa holds a master’s degree in choreography from the Oslo National Academy of the Arts in 2021. Her choreographic work has been presented at venues including the Norwegian National Ballet, BIT Teatergarasjen, Dansens Hus Oslo, CODA Int. Dance Festival, Officine Forte Marghera, Dance Festival Malta, with residencies at; Fondazione I Teatri, Reggio Emilia, Onassis AIR in Athens, SE.S.TA, TanzFabrik Berlin. 

Katrine Patry (1986) is a dance artist from Quebec, Canada now based in Oslo, Norway. She has performed works by Jacques Poulin-Denis, Alan Lake, Harold Rhéaume, Catherine Tardif, Lydia Wagerer, Mélanie Demers, Dominique Porte, Louise Bédard, Emmanuel Jouthe and Shaula Cambazzu, amongst others. Her attraction and curiosity for the human being and different kinds of expression has made her explore mainly movement but also visual arts, architecture, and the anatomical & physiological body. 

At Spring Forward Festival 2025 the duet will be performed by Lisa Colette Bysheim and Edith Strand Askeland.
