Webinar 2 – Artificial Intelligence and green practices
4 November 2026Responsible Digital Practices in the Cultural Sector is a series of four annual webinars on the impact of digital tools on our practices.
Led by Aerowaves, in collaboration with European Dance Development Network and Versopolis, and curated by independent environmentalist David Irle, each webinar combines concrete tips with collective reflection, moving step by step from the most practical to the most systemic, co-creating a shared check-list of sustainable digital practices.
Webinar 2: Artificial Intelligence and green practices
Artificial Intelligence and green practices: how can we overcome the dilemma?, led by David Irle, focused on Artificial Intelligence. We decided to tackle this on-going topic, from a practical point of view at first: AI is already there, everywhere, with a lot of promises, challenges and traps; many digital practices are or will be deeply rooted in AI tools, whether we like it or not. What is the environmental footprint of AI, do we have options to control those impacts, what AI tools are the least harmful and can we regulate or discard some of them?
The session was video recorded via Zoom on 6 October 2026.
