Visit to Elefsina
29 October 2020Aerowaves staff visited Elefsina (Greece), Spring Forward festival’s next destination in 2021.
The town which is 25 minutes driving distance from Athens, was due to be an European Capital of Culture in 2021, but due to Covid-19 the project has been postponed to 2022, however Spring Forward will go ahead in 2021 and will be the first international project held within the ECoC’s framework.
Eleusis 2021 artistic director Michail Marmarinos welcomed Aerowaves to the town and showed us the places where the festival is going to take place. It was a fruitful meeting with the Eleusis 2021 staff and DAN.C.CE UNITIVA’s team –both hosting partners 2021– to gear up the preparations of this very special edition of Spring Forward, which is going to take place the year Aerowaves turns 25!
