Seeking outstanding CEO/Director to lead Aerowaves

Aerowaves is a network connecting choreographers, dance programmers and dance enthusiasts across Europe. We identify the most promising new work by emerging dance artists and then promote it through cross-border performances. Aerowaves’ network of partners in 34 countries enables early career choreographers to bring new dance to new audiences.

CEO/Director

The board of Aerowaves Europe is seeking to appoint an outstanding CEO/Director to lead the network into the next phase of development as Aerowaves Founder John Ashford steps down after twenty-five years.

A respected senior professional, with extensive dance sector experience, the CEO/Director will have a current overview of dance artists and practice across Europe and a track record of working collaboratively with artists and promoters.

The new director will have a vision for how Aerowaves can contribute to artform and audience development, and the expertise to lead and work collaboratively with the Aerowaves partners. She/He/They will also need to be resident in one of the Creative Europe countries, or able to relocate and work there for the period of the appointment.
