Spring Forward 2016

In 2016 Aerowaves teamed up with partners Tanec Praha to bring Spring Forward festival to Pilsen (Czech Republic). Fresh from its turn as European Capital of Culture 2015, Pilsen was home to several performance venues: DEPO, Papírna, New Theatre and Moving Station.

Spring Forward 2016 landed in Pilsen just after the Czech Dance Platform in Prague, where we showcased 19 works, 16 of which were selected from the Twenty16 Aerowaves artists.

In its 20th anniversary year Aerowaves welcomed 220 guests from Europe and beyond to the festival in Pilsen, Springback Academy writers reviewed the 19 shows, a TV crew live streamed the action on Art Streaming TV and thousands watched the festival online
