The Spring Forward Festival 2024 took place in the three German cities of Darmstadt, Wiesbaden and Mainz between 21–23 March. Led by Hessisches Staatsballett, the festival was hosted by the Staatstheaters in those cities.
Talk 'What the body carries'
As part of the Spring Forward Festival 2024, on the last morning of Saturday 23 March at Staatstheater Darmstadt, there was a talk featuring Habib Ben Tanfous (Aerowaves 2024), YAV (Aerowaves 2024) and Jasna Layes-Vinovrski (Aerowaves 2016) facilitated by Emily May, in which the artists discussed what the body carries.
Dancing Your Narrative
In this episode, we discuss the broad theme of heritage in relation to dance through Fatemeh Esmaeilghorbaninejad and Habib Ben Tanfous moving personal stories.

In this episode we discuss many aspects of the role of ritual in culture & society, in traditions & personal behaviour and, of course, in performance & dance.
