Biography
Sisterhood Practice is a choreographic initiative founded in 2019 that brings together female choreographers, theatre makers, and scientists. The idea of sistering is manifested through choreography and dance, fostering a shared artistic focus as well as a commitment to caring for others and their contributions. Each project within the initiative is built on the principles of dialogue and collaboration, striving for transparency, openness, and questioning authoritarian models of leadership.
The Sculptresses was created by Weronika Pelczyńska and Magda Fejdasz, who perform the piece together. At Spring Forward Festival 2024 the piece will be performed by Weronika Pelczyńska and Monika Szpunar.
