Biography

Jordan Deschamps is a French contemporary dancer, choreographer and actor.

Born in 1990, he started dancing Latin and Ballroom dances. From 2009 to 2012, Jordan trained professionally as an actor in a Conservatory in Paris, before joining the international contemporary dance school SEAD (Salzburg Experimental Academy of Dance) in Austria. In 2016 he graduated, completing the 4 years training program with a Major in Choreography.

Four of his choreographic works have been invited to be presented in festivals in Austria, Italy, Norway, England, France and Mexico.

He currently works with Ivo Dimchev (BG/AU) and Simon Tanguy (FR), and will join the first stage  of creation of Alessandro Sciarroni’s next piece Augusto. In november 2017 he performed the piece “Gala” by Jérôme Bel. He also worked with Gilles Polet (BE), Zsuzsa Rozsavolgyi (HU), the Salzburger Festspielhaus (AU), the Opera de la Monnaie of Bruxelles (BE), 2 productions for the Summer Szene Festival in Salzburg and as an actor for the Studio d’Action Théâtrale in Switzerland.
