Biography
Flora Détraz studied dance at CCN Rillieux-la-Pape under Maguy Marin and at Forum Dança in Lisbon. She trained with Vera Mantero, Lia Rodrigues, Meredith Monk, Loïc Touzé, Meg Stuart and Jonathan Burrows, among others. As a performer, she has worked with the choreographers Marlene Monteiro Freitas, Miguel Pereira, and Laurent Cebe.
Since 2013, she has developed her own pieces through the production structure PLI : PEUPLEMENTS, GESACHT, TUTUGURI and MUYTE MAKER. In association with Camille Lacroix, she developed the in-situ project Waves, a series of sound walks among cities. She took part of the Urban Heat program developed by FIT- Festivals in Transition (2016- 2018).
