Biography
OUINCH OUINCH creates raw, carnivalesque, and absurd performances that are often festive, funny, and direct. Their shows spark intense, authentic connections with reality while blending in Queer, Pop, and dreamlike fictions.
Created in 2018, the collective was founded by Karine Dahouindji, Marius Barthaux, Klaire-Alice Crettol and Nicolas Fernando Mayorga Ramirez. The artistic vision is currently in the hands of Karine Dahouindji and Marius Barthaux.
With a bold, eclectic aesthetic, they mix retro-futuristic and medieval references, bringing mischievous, naïve little fairies to life. Whether outside, in a club, or on stage, the OUINCH OUINCH collective enchants the world with their playful presence. Their work is process-driven, fun, and immersive, crossing disciplines and celebrating collective creation.
Their latest productions, HAPPY HYPE (2021) continues its international tour, while CACHALOTTE (2022) remains available for audiences to experience, with a new creation set to debut in 2026.
