Without direct physical contact, ‘Waterkind’ delves into the interplay and connection between two bodies through improvisation.
Both proximity and space are equally crucial, with a continuous emphasis on vibrations and responsiveness. Individual explosions and outbursts occur while both performers maintain a close relationship to one another. Water serves as the inspiration to shape the flows and currents, combined with freestyle and elements of popping, resulting in specific material encapsulated in the work. Waterkind is a meditation on receptivity, proximity and space.
