Biography

Fábio Jorge Januário was born in 1988 in Luanda, Angola. Self-taught in hip-hop, house, popping and locking, he has frequently given Kuduro workshops and masterclasses in Portugal, France and Switzerland, amongst other countries. 

He combines his work as a dance teacher at schools in the Lisbon area, with performing at different festivals such as NOS Alive, Rock in Rio or MEO Sudoeste.

Since 2022, he has been a performer in Marco da Silva Ferreira’s CARCAÇA, which premiered in 2021, which is currently touring internationally. He also collaborates with other artists and projects, from music videos to TV shows. 

Fábio’s movement research is through Kuduro. In 2024, within the framework of Projeto CASA, coproduced by Espaço do Tempo, Centro Cultural Vila Flor and Cineteatro Louletano, he created his first piece Musseque that is now touring across Portugal and internationally.
