Springback is a media-based project designed to connect and open up the dance culture that Aerowaves inhabits to audiences, readers, and spectators.
Oonagh Duckworth is the director of Springback Academy and Sanjoy Roy is the editor of Springback Magazine.
Begun as Springback Academy in 2015, a mentored review-writing programme at the annual Spring Forward festival, the project has now grown into an online Magazine, launched in 2018, which both nurtures Springback writers and gives coverage to the dance scene; as well as an annual Assembly, which gathers writers at a European dance festival to provide co-operation, contributions and coverage (for example at Oriente Occidente in 2023, and Oktoberdans Bergen in 2022).
