Artificial Intelligence and green practices: how can we overcome the dilemma?, led by David Irle, will focus on Artificial Intelligence. We decided to tackle this on-going topic, from a practical point of view at first. AI is already there, everywhere, with a lot of promises, challenges and traps. Many digital practices are or will be deeply rooted with AI tools, whether we like it or not. What is the environmental footprint of AI, do we have options to control those impacts, what AI tools are the least harmful and can we regulate or discard some of them?
The speaker:
David Irle is a French eco-consultant and author specializing in the ecological transition of the cultural and event sectors. He is recognised for his expertise in decarbonizing culture and guiding professionals toward more sustainable practices. He is the co-author of the book Décarboner la culture, which serves as a key reference for French professionals in the sector seeking to reduce their environmental impact. He is part of a broader collective Le Bureau des Acclimatations since 2022, specialized in the social and economical issues of the ecological transition.
