52 dance professionals gather in Budapest for the Annual Selection Meeting
23 October 2025Aerowaves partners and dance professionals gathered in Budapest from the 19-22 October 2025 to select the next #Twenty26 Artists.
Our partner Gergely Talló and the team at Workshop Foundation hosted our Annual Selection Meeting at their space in Budapest.
We also invited two emerging dance curators from Startup Forum 2025, Joaquín Collado/Paisaje Festival (Spain) and Mariia Kondratieva to participate in the meeting.
Other attendees included: the chairman of Aerowaves’ board Willie White and board member Miles Harrigan; the director of the Startup Forum and also a board member Betsy Gregory; and Springback Academy director Oonagh Duckworth.
The group discussed hundreds of submissions from across Europe as well as the wider activities of Aerowaves and its partners; and participated in the Breakfast Club Night Edition, where they met artists based in Budapest, as well as a pre-premiere rehearsal at Trafó House.
