After this episode was recorded, we were shocked to learn that interviewee Tobi Omoteso had been violently attacked in Limerick, on the morning of Saturday 28 March 2026. He was on his way to the annual Top 8 Festival of hip hop and street dance, which he co-directs. The attacker smashed Tobi’s car window with a baseball bat, lacerating Tobi’s face and eyes. He needed several emergency surgeries, and remains partially blind. You can read more about the attack here:
In the interview, Tobi talks about his work in Limerick and his feelings about Limerick. We would like you to listen in the knowledge of the subsequent attack, which now casts his words in a more cruel light.
