Greta Pieropan (Italy, 1991) has a background in Modern Philology and Literature Studies, with a focus on journalism and contemporary live performing arts. She has been writing about dance and theatre for magazines for many years. She has worked as a press officer for performing arts festivals and dance companies, developing strategic thinking in communicating dance to professional and non-professional audiences. She is interested in audience development and engagement, and, since her participation at the Performing Gender project, she is interested in dance dramaturgy, reflecting on how it can help the creative process, but also how it can develop a positive exchange between artists and audiences.
Her agenda also includes researching the development of new narratives for contemporary dance, with a specific interest for podcasts.
