Learn more about the dance publication
Founded in 2018, Springback Magazine does things differently. The focus is on smaller-scale, independent, cutting-edge and new contemporary dance productions that criss-cross the continent.
Springback is more than a magazine. It is part of a wider network of initiatives related to thinking and communicating about contemporary dance across Europe.
Springback Academy is an intensive writing and reviewing programme from which all the magazine’s contributors are drawn, held at our annual Spring Forward festival. Writers from that programme have the opportunity to meet again during the year at an annual Assembly, a crucible for new ideas. Springback Live is our livestream media channel, finding new ways of presenting and communicating live performance.
