Spring Forward 2014

In Umeå, Aerowaves together with Norrlandsoperan, presented works by 24 companies from 21 countries over 4 days, including Aerowaves Encore pieces (companies who have previously presented work during Spring Forward and back by popular demand) and Magnetic North, a programme of regional works which warmed up audiences on 24 April and took them for a spin around Sweden on Saturday morning.

During Spring Forward we piloted Springback Academy, a boot camp for emerging dance writers. Professional critics Donald Hutera (The Times), Sanjoy Roy (The Guardian) and Margareta Sörenson (Expressen.se) came together to mentor a group of 9 writers.
