Together with the Department of Arts and Culture of the City of Munich, every year since 1991 JOINT ADVENTURES has organized TANZWERKSTATT EUROPA – a workshop for new ideas and aesthetics in contemporary dance and performance and hot spot for choreographers, teachers and professionals – for all people who take great delight in dancing.
Unbelievable, but WE CAN DO IT!
For 29 years, TANZWERKSTATT EUROPA has been bringing together dancers, choreographers and dance enthusiasts from all over the world in Munich every summer for 10 days to train in various workshops and intensive courses, to try out their own choreographic material, exchange ideas and see current works by important international artists.
This year the Corona Pandemic changed our world from one day to the next! The worldwide lockdown has led to drastic restrictions in the performing arts, especially in dance – theatres had to close, trainings were forbidden, travelling no longer possible. Thanks to the deconfinement in many areas, we are happy to be able to hold the TANZWERKSTATT EUROPA from 28 July to 7 August in Munich in a safe and responsible way for and with you.
The workshop programme will go online on 25 June 2020 and the registration will open. Advance booking for the individual performances starts in July.
Please follow the latest announcements regarding further program updates on the WEBSITE!
