Le Récital des Postures

Yasmine HugonnetLe Récital des Postures

Le Récital des Postures is like a concert for one instrument - the human body. Choreographer Yasmine Hugonnet collects a series of postures that ask both intense engagement and complete abandonment. Her agility and breathtaking strength allows her body to seem suspended. She appears to float in a white space as the resonances of her movements wash over the imagination of the audience. Simple and mysterious, this solo accumulates evocative, unspoken sensations and images - it speaks to us from under the skin.

In march 2015, the company presented La Traversée des Langues a new solo exploring ventriloquy and movement. Next February, she will premiere a group piece called LA RONDE/QUATUOR for 4 dancers. Meanwhile, Le Récital des Postures is touring through France, Germany, Belgium and Italy. Yasmine is also the associated artist for two years (2015-2017) with Théâtre de Sévelin 36, funded by the Pro Helvetia programme YAA! - Young Associated Artist.
