Renata Piotrowska-Auffret is a choreographer and a performer. She graduated from the master choreographic programme ex.e.r.ce. in Montpellier and the Theatre Academy in Białystok.

Since 2007 she has created several performances including ‘Now’, ‘Dancing with the Enemy’, the ‘UNKNOWN series’, ‘breaj ART OF THE WAR’, ‘UNKNOWN.SEANCE’, video dance piece ‘Inside’, ‘The Forest’ - work in progress, ‘Death. Exercices and variations’ and ‘Common’. In 2008, 2010 and 2017 her performances ‘Dancing with the Enemy’, ‘Unknown’ and "Death. Exercices and variations" were selected by the Polish Dance Platform.

Among others, Renata has shown her work and collaborated with CSW Contemporary Art Castle in Warsaw, National Gallery Zachęta in Warsaw, Nowy Theatre, Theatre Studio, Ochota Theatre and Theatre Institute in Warsaw, Art Stations Foundation and Cultural Center Zamek in Poznan, National Choreographic Center in Montpellier, National Dance Center in Paris, National Scene in St.Brieuc.

She has received scholarships from Adam Mickiewicz Institute, Art Stations Foundation and Ministry of Culture and National Heritage in Poland, programme Młoda Polska (2010) and Stypendium Ministra (2013). She is a member of the choreographer’s platform from Warsaw – Center in Motion.
