ANECKXANDER is a minimal solo for one acrobatic body, two platform boots, a pair of boxing gloves and three variations on a piece of piano music by Arvo Pärt. Balancing on the fine line between tragedy and comedy, Alexander/Aneckxander rewrites the autobiography of his own body. The result is a raw self-portrait in which Alexander/Aneckxander simultaneously exposes himself - and his disproportions - and shies away from our curious gaze.
