Biography

Martina Hajdyla Lacová graduated from J.L. Bell Conservatory, Slovakia as well as from the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague. In 2008, she participated in a half-year study programme in Hoger Instituut voor Dans in Antwerp, where she worked with Belgian choreographer, Ann van den Broek. Since 2006 she has been working with Marta Poláková (SVK), Mirka Eliášová (CZE), sMaya M. Carroll (ISR), Ji-Eun Lee (KOR), Šaŕka Ondrišová (SVK), Helene Weinzierl (AUT), Irina Andreeva (RUS), Rasmus Ölme (SWE). She is a founding member of dance group ME-SA, with which she has toured to Edinburgh Fringe Festival among others.

Since 2009, she has been working with the Slovak theatrical company Debris and the Norwegian choreographer Karen Foss, and since 2011 with the Swiss company DA MOTUS! and the Czech dance company VerTeDance. Lacová also works as a guest teacher in dance schools and studios throughout the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

Stanislav Dobák studied dance at the J.L. Bell Conservatory, Slovakia and graduated from P.A.R.T.S., Belgium. He collaborates regularly with Salva Sanchis (ES) and performs in Soleils by Pierre Droulers (FR) and The Sun Came by Daniel Linehan (USA). In addition to teaching dance workshops, Dobák also collaborates with Peter Savel, and creats works for organisations such as Passerelle in Kortrijk, ME-SA in Prague, among others.In 2015 Dobák will join dance company Rosas, Belgium for a remake of Drumming.

He is the co-founder of Memoryhouse Productions with collaborator Jamie Lee which launched in 2014 with dreams, a film and photography installation that will premiere in 2015. He is also currently studying Photography at IDI/University of Hertfordshire, UK.
