Ingrid Berger Myhre is a Norwegian dance artist currently based in Brussels. She studied at the Laban Centre in London, holds a BA in Modern Theatre Dance from Amsterdam School of the Arts (NL) and most recently a MA in Choreography; Research and Performance at the Choreographic Centre in Montpellier (FR). Upon gaining her MA she received Arts Council Norway’s Grant for Newly Graduated Artists in 2015, and the year after was granted the Council’s Artists Working Grant for the period of 2016 – 2017.

This year she is following the Research Studio’s ‘17-18 at P.A.R.T.S. under the topic of Movement x Sound x Word.

Language and semiotics are central elements to Myhre’s artistic work. Her sharp eye for composition and casual play with expectation comes together in unpretentious and poetic performances. Her choreographic body of work consists of LATEST NOTES (2015: with Ann-Christin Berg Kongsness), STAFF (2015: with Andreea David), SUPPLIES (2016) and BLANKS (2017). Myhre is affiliated choreographer at Dansateliers Rotterdam, the house co-producing her works since 2013 and is  since 2015 regularly programmed in Black Box Teater in Oslo.
