Fondazione Romaeuropa is one of the most prestigious cultural institutions in Europe, actively involved in promoting and disseminating theatre, dance and contemporary music. Established in 1986, the Foundation represents a veritable crossroads of international cultural exchange and participates actively in many EU networks.
The Foundation’s main annual event is the Romaeuropa Festival, which will celebrate its 30th edition in 2015, while the most vibrant and innovative part of the Festival is DNA, a specific project focusing on young and emerging choreographers across Europe. Founded in 2010 as a focus dedicated to promoting emerging Italian dance, in 2013 DNA began to include choreographers from across Europe.
