News Find out what's happening across the Aerowaves dance network

Welcome to our new partners in Romania and in Sweden!

Aerowaves is thrilled to welcome two new friends on board, with the National Centre for Dance in Bucharest (CNDB) in Romania joining as a Partner, and Dansens Hus in Sweden as a Presenter.

'There are many reasons to be excited to join the Aerowaves network, but the most important is that through this partnership The National Centre for Dance in Bucharest will be able to be part of the international choreographic context, providing a new generation of artists with a dynamic and flexible interface between professionals and the audience.' says Carmen Coţofană, Project coordinator at CNDB. The National Centre for Dance in Bucharest is a public institution whose purpose is to sustain, develop and promote contemporary dance.

For Dansens Hus 'this partnership with Aerowaves allows us to go further in our mission to encourage Sweden-based, emerging choreographers and dance artists to grow on an international level. The network provides a context which is central for the development of new generations in the professional dance field, and we are so excited to be part of it!'. Dansens Hus in Stockholm is Sweden’s largest stage for guest performances of contemporary dance from Sweden and the rest of the world. Their goal is to offer to the audience a diverse selection of artistic expressions. Dynamic and innovative culture that moves and affects people – from Sweden and the world. Dansens Hus is also currently hosting our Communication Manager Marie who has settled in Sweden for the time being so come and say hi if you are around!
