Daniele Ninarello & Dan Kinzelman - Kudoku - Italy
Oona / Oona Doherty - Lazarus and the Birds of Paradise - UK / Northern Ireland (VIDEO)
Daniele Ninarello creates an uninterrupted flow of movements in dialogue with the live soundscape played by Dan Kinzelman, mixing improvised music with his voice and saxophone. Kudoku, a duet between two highly skilled artists explores the physical and sonic expression of the body, the visible traces it leaves in time and space. Daniele Ninarello’s hypnotic moves will slowly wipe your gaze clean and bring you to a state of peace.

Lazarus and the Birds of Paradise (VIDEO)
Oona Doherty performs a distillation of the Male and thumping sweaty theatre. "Lazarus and the birds of paradise" attempts to deconstruct the stereotype of the deprived male, and raise it up into a Caravaggio bright white limbo. To make the smicks, the spides, the hoods, the knackers and the vandales into the birds of paradise.
"Lazarus and the birds of paradise" is the final scene of "Hope Hunt and the ascension into Lazarus" - Doherty's solo selected by Aerowaves and the first scene of her new 2017 work "Hard to be Soft - A Belfast Prayer in Four parts".
